SF Bay Area grown, I now dabble in the northwest. I enjoy photography, picking apart news articles, writing, baking/making food for friends, dachshunds, gerber daisies and rain. I am also in a constant and changing relationship with God. Get me talking about Ben Folds or Five Iron Frenzy and I won't shut up. Background picture is mine by the way...in case you were curious.
Life is messy, cruel and fast so have as much fun as you can and make every single moment count.

Snow is beautiful and awesome—when the temperature starts going up and it rains, it suddenly becomes less awesome. This is especially true when you are walking from packed snow on the street to muddy slush on the roads—there will inevitably be deep puddles of water up to 2 inches that are unavoidable.
Thank God for those snow boots from middle school I wore like four times. The Californian did something right this time.
My heart is very unsettled right now for non snow related things.
